Australian Halal Food Services (AHFS) recognised as an Islamic body under the Australian Government Supervisor Muslim Slaughter (AGSMS) system, to issue Halal meat certificates to Malaysia, Singapore, Indonesia, Brunei, United Arab Emirate, Egypt and those Muslim countries who accept the standard Halal certificate.
AHFS is the first Islamic body in Australia providing a complete Halal program based on Islamic Shariaa, and scientific expertise. AHFS builds trust and confidence through being experienced experts of meat science, meat hygiene and veterinary public health. Licensed, accredited and authorised to inspect the Halal slaughter process, advise and inspect the correct handling, storage and transport of Halal meat and food according to Islamic law "Shariah" and issue Halal meat certificates for export to Muslim countries.
AHFS strives to aid companies wishing to expand their product range in order to serve the ever expanding Halal market.
AHFS has also been recognised as a training organisation (reg # 30828) from the Department of Education, Training and the Arts for the following competencies:
- MTM20100 Certificate II Meat Processing (Abattoirs).
- MTM30500 Certificate III Meat Processing (Slaughtering).
- MTM30100 Certificate III Meat Processing (Boning).
